Compared to large M&A organisations in the Czech Republic, we offer much bigger exposure to various corporate finance situations and interaction with clients from day one.

Current openings

Vice President / Senior Associate

Your responsibilities would include the following:

  • Deal ownership / project management

  • Execution of complex work-streams (origination, preparation, execution of transactions)

  • Company valuations (comparables, DCF, IRR/LBO analysis)

  • Financial statement analysis and financial modelling

  • Help develop transaction structures / structured solutions 

  • Efficiently supervise junior colleagues (interns, analysts and associates as appropriate) and owns the responsibility of their work

  • Deal origination from screening for and analysis of new deal opportunities to pitch preparation and delivery to a client)

Your experience should include:

  • Has general business acumen

  • Has excellent knowledge of corporate finance concepts

  • Has solid accounting, valuation (and legal) knowledge 

  • Has excellent complex modelling skills 

  • Is able to lead and coordinate a project in various situations

  • Ability to prepare various transaction documents (teaser, IM, investor presentation)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Czech and English

  • M&A, leveraged finance, business modelling, investment or audit/accounting track record

  • Is autonomous in the origination, from ideas generation to pitch delivery to client at senior levels

  • Shows potential to be client interface at senior level 

  • Developed negotiation skills are a plus

  • 3-8 years of relevant (M&A, leveraged finance, business modelling, investment or audit/accounting) working experience

Analyst

Your responsibilities would include the following:

  • Execution of individual work-streams: business plan, financial model, transaction documents, due diligence

  • Company valuations (comparables, DCF, IRR/LBO analysis)

  • Financial statement analysis and financial modelling

  • Assisting in deal origination by screening and analysing new business opportunities

  • Ownership and regular updates of various proprietary databases

Your experience should include:

  • Business acumen and proven strong analytical skills

  • Sound knowledge of finance (interpretation of financials / accounting) and financial modelling skills appropriate to your years of experience

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Power point and Word

  • Ability to formulate commentary on business and financial performance and to prepare various sections of transaction documents (teaser, investment memorandum, investor presentation)

  • High proficiency in spoken and written Czech / Slovak and English

  • Ability to deliver smart, accurate and reliable materials within objectives and deadlines

  • 1-3 years of relevant (accounting/audit, controlling, business analysis or modelling, M&A, leveraged finance, investments) working experience (acquired also during internship or part-time job)

We will also consider candidates for part-time job (min 30h/week) with a transition to full-time within maximum 9 months.

Internship

Your responsibilities would include the following:

  • Research, screening and various analysis (industry, target buyers, investors, etc.)

  • Support in execution of individual work-streams: business plan, financial model, transaction documents, due diligence

  • Financial statement analysis and financial modelling

  • Regular updates of various proprietary databases

Your experience should include:

  • Business acumen and strong analytical skills

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Word

  • Fluent in Czech/Slovak and solid command in English

  • Delivers smart, accurate and reliable materials within objectives and deadlines 

  • University student with ambition for a career in finance

We hire students for internship (for both short term: 3-6 months or long term: 6 months+) on continuous basis.
